We had a gorgeous day here today and were all so happy to enjoy the outdoors. The children came in to a busy day filled with lots of exploration this morning. The water table was ready and had some great new water toys for little hands to manipulate. I purchased 3 little bottles from the dollar store (ya know the kind you would put a little shampoo/conditioner in for travel) and could not believe how much the children loved them. They were just perfect for their little hands! Little C and Moose spent a half hour just using them to pour water into their other water toys. It was fun to watch.
I am continuing to try very hard not to bug out about water on the floor, etc. I try very hard to lay down the proper things to prevent me from bugging, but still, when little ones take a long walk with watering can in hand, I still am like UGH! I need to desensitize myself and continue to do it more and more LOL!
We were very happy to be able to enjoy the outdoors in the afternoon and could not believe it was in the 80's! YAY...can't wait till it is that nice everyday! We all expended a lot of that pent-up indoor energy and felt much better by the end of the day! I love watching them interact outdoors! They are filled with a different kind of imagination than they are inside. Miss D told me that she was a Real Princess and Real Princesses needed flowers and needed to bring them in.....for real....so that is what she did. Picking lots of dandelions to bring inside.
It was a great day and really makes me so appreciate my job.

Keep Trying to Design My Blog
So, I have been trying for a couple of days to design my blog and put up a new background. I am sure I am doing it right, but not really getting the results I was hoping for. So....I am going to give in and take it as it is. I now need to start downloading some pictures and learning how to post them here. That should be interesting.

My Very First Blog!
I have decided to write this blog to share with others the many fun, rewarding and truly inspiring experiences I am privileged to have in my everyday work! As a Licensed Daycare Provider for almost 10 years, I have been touched by so many beautiful families and their children and have always said that I wish I had recorded half the things they have said and videoed half the things they have done. I now will try very hard to document these magical little moments here and hope you can do the same in return. I welcome your thoughts, comments and stories.
